Reba McEntire postpones 3 concerts after doctor orders ‘vocal rest’

Country music star Reba McEntire said she is postponing three concerts set for this weekend after her doctor told her “to go on vocal rest.”

McEntire, 67, announced on her official Instagram and Facebook accounts on Wednesday that she made “the difficult decision” to reschedule the concerts in Columbus, Ohio; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Indianapolis, CNN reported.

“My doctor has advised me to go on vocal rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend’s shows,” McEntire wrote on her social media accounts.

The concerts are now rescheduled for Dec. 2 in Columbus, Dec. 3 in Raleigh and Dec. 16 in Indianapolis, the singer announced.

McEntire said that all tickets will be honored for the new dates.

“Thank you for understanding!” she wrote.

McEntire is still scheduled to perform on Wednesday at the Country Music Awards, CNN reported.

In addition to her singing career, McEntire is currently appearing in the third season of the mystery television series “Big Sky,” according to the cable news outlet.
