Boulder supermarket shooting: What we know about the victims

BOULDER, Colo. — Ten people, including a Boulder police officer, died Monday when a gunman opened fire at a crowded King Soopers grocery store, according to officials.

On Tuesday, authorities identified the victims as:

  • Tralona Bartkowiak, 49
  • Suzanne Fountain, 59
  • Teri Leiker, 51
  • Eric Talley, 51
  • Kevin Mahoney, 61
  • Lynn Murray, 62
  • Jody Waters, 65

The suspected gunman, identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Ali Aliwi Alissa, was shot in the leg before being taken into custody Monday afternoon. Authorities said he’s been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder.
