Taraji P. Henson says she speaks with “Empire” co-star Jussie Smollett ‘all the time.’

The Oscar-nominated actress told the hosts of “The View” Thursday that her TV son is doing well after all the criminal charges against him were dropped, and that as far as she knows, he will return for season six.

“We're all doing well, the show's doing well,” Henson said. “We're on hiatus right now and the writers are trying to figure out what the next season is going to look like. …They're trying to dig up some really good, juicy stuff for you guys.”

USA Today reports that the talk of "Empire's" upcoming season prompted Joy Behar to ask whether Smollett would still be around for it.

"Yes, I haven't heard anything else," Henson replied.
