R&B singer Adina Howard opens up about career, Brandy and former label executive

“Freak Like Me” singer opens up about her career downfall.

According to TV One's Unsung, R&B singer Adina Howard found herself in trouble for dating Brandy's boyfriend, Wanya Morris from Boyz II Men. Adina had few words for Atlantic records and her label executive, Sylvia Rhone,  after Sylvia Rhone advised her to focus on music not Morris.

The 90s star opened up about her career on TV One's 'Unsung' on the March 10th episode. "This industry did not make me, and it's not going to break me," the singer says in the episode.

"I said something very inappropriate about the head of the label and she pulled up the emergency brake, and shut everything down," Adina shares in her interview.
